Different types of Carnivorous plants || chiseled info

First of all , let's know about carnivorous plants .

What is so special about carnivorous plants that a society with over thousands members exists to share information about them ?
Carnivorous plants are predatory flowering plants that kill animals in order to gain nutrition from their bodies . They share three attributes that operate together and separate them from other plants .
Carnivorous plants--
1] Capture and kill prey
2] Have a mechanism to facilitate digestion of the prey .
3] Derive a significant benefit from nutrients assimilated from the prey .

Now let us know different types of Carnivorous plant.

CEPHALOTUS---
Cephalotus is a genius which contains one species, Cephalotus follicularis, a small carnivorous pitcher plant . The pit - fat traps of the modified leaves have inspired the common names for this plant, which includes Albany Pitcher Plant, Western Australian Pitcher Plant, Fly-Catcher plant or mocassin plant .
Drosera--
These members of the family Droseracea lure, capture and digestion insects using stalked mucilaginous glands covering their leaf surface . The insects are used to supplement the poor mineral nutrition of the soil in which they grow .
DROSERA FILIFORMIS--
DROSERA filiformis , commonly known as the Thread-leaved sundew, is a small , insectivorous, rosette forming species of perennial herb.
HELIAMPHORA--
The genius Heliamphora contains 23 species of pitcher plants endemic to south America. The species are collectively known as sun pitchers, based on the mistaken notion that the heli of Heliamphora is from the Greek Helios , meaning "sun"🌞.
SARRACENI IEUCOPHYLLA--
The species is highly variable with respect to it's pitchers, with plants in some localities reaching almost 1 meter in height , while in other's, plants can be diminutive sarraceni ieucophylla produces crimson flowers in the spring before it's characteristically small spring pitchers.

COBRA LILY--
The name Cobra lily stems from the resemblance of it's tubular leaves to rearing cobra , complete with a forked leaf ranging from yellow to purplish-green that resemble frangs or a serpent's tongue.
NEPENTHES--
A few are considered tropical alpine with cool days and nights with freezing. The name monkey cups refers to the fact that monkeys have been observed drinking rainwater from these plants.
UTRICULAR--
All utricular are carnivorous and capture small organisms by means of bladder- like traps . Terrestrial species tend to have tiny traps that feed on minute pery such as protozoa and rotifers swimming in water - saturated sakil. The traps can range in size from 0.2mm to 1.2 cm.
PITCHER PLANT--
Pitcher plants are carnivorous plants whose prey-trapping mechanism features a deep cavity filled with liquid known as pitfall trap evolved from rolled leaves , with selection pressure favouring more deeply cupped leaves over evolutionary time .
VENUS FLYTRAP--
The venus flytrap is a small plant whose structure can be discrib as a rosette of four to seven leaves , which arise from a short subterranean steam that is actually a bulb-like object. Each steam reaches a maximum size about 3 - 10 centimetres , depending on the time of the year ; longer leaves with robust traps are usually formed after flowering . Flytraps that have more than 7 leaves are colonies formed by Rosettes that have divided beneath the ground.
HELIAMPHORA TETAI --
Heliamphora tetai is a species of Marsh Pitcher Plant endemic to Duida Tepui, Cerro Huachamacari and Marahuaca Tepui in Venezuela.

HELIAMPHORA NUTANS--
Heliamphora Nutans is a species of Marsh Pitcher Plant native to Venezuela , Brazil and Guyana, where it grows on several Tepuis , including Roraima , kukenan, Tramen and ilu. H. Nutans was the first heliamphora to be described and is the best k species.
